The scanner can be launched in two ways:

The criteria for identifying whether an asset is bullish are:
- On the previous candle:
- Closing price higher than opening price
- Closing price higher than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen
- Chikou Span higher than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen
- Chikou Span higher than the candle's high at its level
- On the current forming candle:
- Closing price higher than opening price
- Chikou Span higher than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen

The criteria for identifying whether an asset is bearish are:
- On the previous candle:
- Closing price lower than opening price
- Closing price lower than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen
- Chikou Span lower than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen
- Chikou Span lower than the candle's low at its level
- On the current forming candle:
- Closing price lower than opening price
- Chikou Span lower than SSA and SSB and Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen

The scanner helps guide the user to potentially bullish or bearish assets.

Prior knowledge of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system is recommended.

The scanner saves a considerable amount of time as it avoids the user going through assets one by one in search of potential trading opportunities.
